# 7.2 TTT Governance Token and Decision-Making Process

The TTT token functions as both a utility and governance token. It grants holders the ability to directly influence the future of the TRIPLE PLUS ecosystem.

* TTT holders can submit proposals and participate in governance voting
* Voting weight is determined by the amount of TTT held and the duration of staking, based on a snapshot mechanism
* Governance decisions are executed through smart contracts in the following process:

\[Proposal Submission] → \[Token Holder Voting] → \[Voting Deadline] → \[Auto-Execution or DAO Sign-Off]

Proposal types include:

* Feature Proposals: New services, UI changes, infrastructure upgrades
* Treasury Proposals: Funding allocations, incentive budgets
* Policy Proposals: Governance model updates, token economy revisions
