# 7.1 Role and Operating Principles of the DAO

The TRIPLE PLUS DAO is more than a voting tool—it is a self-operating governance system that steers the platform’s long-term growth and sustainability. Its core responsibilities include:

* Proposing, voting on, and approving platform policies and economic changes
* Adjusting the TTT tokenomics and transaction fee models
* Authorizing and overseeing the use of the DAO treasury
* Evaluating new features, services, and regional governance proposals

The DAO follows four core principles:

* Autonomy: Operations are executed without centralized control
* Transparency: All decisions are recorded on-chain and displayed via public dashboards
* Inclusivity: Any eligible user can submit proposals and vote
* Accountability: Optional identity-linked proposal verification and public track records
